Six signals to read the stay at a glance.
Nestled within the Porto Conte Regional Natural Park near Alghero, this resort hotel offers a serene retreat framed by the crescent-shaped bay of Torre del Porticciolo. The beach combines amber-hued coarse sand with smooth pebbles, leading to emerald and turquoise waters that are ideal for snorkeling and observing diverse marine life. The gently sloping seabed is perfect for casual swimmers and underwater explorers alike.
Visitors praise the tranquil atmosphere and the vivid seascape highlighted by a historic Aragonese tower standing guard on the northern promontory. The surrounding landscape includes Mediterranean shrubs and rugged reddish mountains, creating a distinctive natural backdrop. Access to the beach involves a manageable staircase descent from the nearby camping area, making the spot somewhat secluded and not overcrowded.
While not resembling a tropical postcard, the place earns appreciation for its authenticity and opportunities to discover nudibranchs and local fish. Facilities are modest; a small beach snack bar operates seasonally, providing refreshments and light bites. “Bellissima piccola spiaggia. Mare con fondo di ciottoli, acqua cristallina. Contesto splendido”
Bellissimo”
